Loeka Grimm draws surreal worlds where fantasy and reality are woven together.

Loeka Grimm is an illustrator and graphic storyteller based in Amsterdam. She looks at the visible world with curiosity: nature, shapes, details and patterns are where every picture starts. By combining images, styles and impressions, she builds surreal worlds in which fantasy and reality are woven together. Wonder, imagination, nature and humour sit at the heart of her work.

She trained at the Grafisch Lyceum, specialised in illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academy, and went deeper into comic design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna. A growing love for bringing images, art and education together led her to the Breitner Academy, where she now studies art education.

At Studio LeGrimm, Loeka works on illustrations, graphic design (house styles, logos, posters, flyers and more) and teaching material; workshops will follow. Her illustration work is published as Illuster Creation.
